30-Day Blogging Challenge: Day 1 of 30
This should be interesting.
I have been spending more and more time at the backend of our company website this past month and I have been on the look out for helpful things that can help in improving our site. Yesterday, I came across Hubspot’s 30-Day Blogging Challenge.
What is the 30-Day Blog Challenge?
“Did you know that HubSpot customers who write just 3-4 blog posts per month get 20 more monthly lead submissions, 800 more monthly site visits, 60 more Twitter followers, and 50 more Facebook Likes than customers who only write 2 blog posts per month? And that’s just the difference a couple blog posts can make.
After seeing this stat, we decided to challenge everyone (customer or not) to get blogging — whether that means starting to blog, blogging more frequently, or blogging at a higher quality. (Or all of the above!)” ~ Hubspot
You can join the challenge by submitting your company url HERE.
At this point though, I am not sure if I got our company to qualify, since I am already late to start. But I still wanted to push through with it take up on the challenge. So basically, today is Day 1.
So why did I decide to do it?
It’s actually both sad and exciting for me to come to this point. A bit sad that I needed to participate in such challenge for me to realize that our company blog needs all the love I can give but at the same time exciting because I really feel good about this and I am confident that this will benefit me and the whole K Squad Team in the end. (I’ve also decided to commit at least 1 blog post per week to my personal blog for a month.)
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
I am VERY motivated right now. Let’s see if this blogging thing becomes a habit.
Now, what will I blog about in the next 30 days?
I like taking time when I am writing about something because I want to provide as much value as I can. But I guess, sometimes, I am over-thinking it.
I plan to post about the thing I am most passionate about – MY WORK.
As an Entrepreneur, I deal with every little challenge of my small business start up. From managing the people, the clients, the finances, the marketing, the website, the services, and the most challenging part – MANAGING MYSELF.
Oh my, I already have at least 5 topics in mind to write about! But enough for Day 1. 29 more days to go.
Wish me luck!
